History
Advanced Audio was established in Melbourne in 1988. In the early years we predominantly provided PA systems for Melbourne’s thriving local music scene.
Our philosophy was simple, Make it work, Make it quality, Make it Affordable……
Our experience evolved and the inventory grew, our client base expanded to include Corporate Companies, Councils, Schools, Clubs and Bars. Predominantly audio focused we have successfully completed thousands of events, hundreds of installations, concerts and festivals.
The key to our success today is driven by our knowledgeable and experienced team without whom the best equipment in the world is worthless.

Steve Kirtland -Director
Steve has over 25 years of extensive experience in the delivery of technical event services. This includes operating Advanced Audio as a successful business and developing a consistent customer and contact base. Steve’s approach to his business has resulted in success with clients and staff alike. His ability to drive the team to exceed the client’s expectations has meant Advanced has become the chosen audio company to many of Melbourne’s AV & Event suppliers.

Peter Rickman -Director
Pete comes from a “hands on” technical background. Technically trained in Television, Photography and Audio Production, Pete has had a varied and exciting professional career. For over twenty years Pete has focused on “Making the Show”. Pete is accomplished in so many facets of the business that his skills encapsulate all event production elements.
